Pet Friendship Chain

by Bonehead on September 30, 2009

Earlier today I was going through a few blog posts on my main blog Extreme John.com when I came across a comment on one of my blog friendship chain posts, the comment was left by the blogger from My Baby Pet. Typically if someone leaves a comment on any of my blogs I will usually visit their blog in return and leave them a comment or at least see what their blog is about, it’s a big part of having a blog in my opinion networking is key.

Anyway, the first blog post I noticed was a Pet Friendship Chain post that was geared off of the friendship chain post I had made a few months back, I never even thought of a Pet Friendship Chain, but it’s a great idea! If you own a blog dedicated to English Bulldogs or a blog that features yours pets you need to get involved in the Pet Friendship chain, it’s a great way to network and more importantly increase your backlinks which can lead to improved Google PR rating and more search engine traffic.

Hey Bulldog

English Bulldogs are a very special breed of dog with a personality and charisma like no other pet on planet earth, keep in mind this is a blog about English Bulldogs which means that I probably will not be talking about other pets much. I could probably spend the next fifteen minutes telling you what I think about English Bulldogs and my personal experiences with the bulldogs I have owned, but my guess is you want to know more factual information about English Bulldogs.

I decided that I would search Bing and see what information about English Bulldogs I could find in various articles that would give you the best information without cluttering it with a bunch of junk. I know that when we decided to add some new additions to the family, we did a lot of research about the English Bulldog breed in order to make sure we were getting the right pet for our family.

One thing I can tell you is that there are some excellent sources for information about bulldogs on the internet, some of the articles are written by the best bulldog blogs and websites on the internet, the true bulldog authorities. I will just do the best I can to give you some of the important facts about bulldogs, I hope you will find it useful.

One of the most popular web searches that comes up on Bing and Google is Dog Breed Info.com, they seem to have information on all dog breeds and very detailed information at that. When it came down to finding general information about English Bulldogs and their appearance Dog Breed Info had the best description of what bulldogs look like. They have a pretty nice English Bulldog Information and Pictures page setup with all kinds of information, the information below is specifically in regards to what a good bulldog looks like.

“The Bulldog is small in stature, but wide and compact, with a thick, massive head. Its head should be broad (the broader the more prized) with cheeks that extend to the sides of the eyes. The skin on the skull and forehead should fall in dense folds. Its muzzle is short and pug, its nose, broad and black with large nostrils. Its upper lip is pendent and its lower jaw should be very undershot.” Full article here.

According to Wikipedia English Bulldogs have an excellent temperament, rarely leave the yard without a companion and typically do very well with other family pets and children. English Bulldogs are stubborn and not easily excitable, they are also not known for being big barkers and bulldogs are suitable for homes as well as apartments.

I will be spending more time writing more articles with information about English Bulldogs, one of the most important things to be aware of when it comes to the bulldog breed is that they are prone to health problems, something I plan on writing about next week.

Bonehead Bulldogs relies on your comments and feedback as well as your funny bulldog pictures and funny bulldog videos, please leave a comment with any questions or suggestions for something you would like to see on Bonehead Bulldogs in the future.
