I decided that we should make Friday’s fun by posting a new video every week of a new English Bulldog or multiple English Bulldogs, the video might be funny in some cases and I hope that in most cases it will be videos submitted by all of you. For the time being and of course since Bonehead Bulldogs is new I figured I would break the ice with the very first English Bulldog video posted here.
This weeks video features Reagn our 14 month old male English Bulldog swimming to the edge of our pool on a Sunday afternoon, Reagan has always shown an intrest in trying to get in the pool with me. As most English Bulldog owners know, English Bulldogs are not know for their excellent swimming ability and in most cases are know to sink to the bottom of the pool due to their short legs and weight.
I wanted to make sure that in the event that Reagan were to fall in the pool on accident he would at least know where the steps were in order to get out, I tried teaching all of our bulldogs this priceless info at one point, but only two of them (Carter and Reagan) would even consider going in the pool, Kennedy our 14 month olf female bulldog hates the pool. I honestly believe she might be willing to fight to the death in order to avoid any contact with water what-so-ever.

English Bulldog Swimming Video featuring 14 month old English Bulldog Reagan
As you can see by the video of our bulldog Reagan swimming not every English Bulldog just sinks to the bottom of the pool, I honestly think Reagan did pretty good with swimming half the distance even though the video isn’t really that long. I would have my doubts about Reagan being able to keep his body weight up for the entire distance of the pool, especially because Reagan is hardly the most “fit” of our bulldogs and he has breathing issues as well.
I would love for you to submit your English Bulldog video so that I can include it in a future Friday bulldog video post, it’s actually pretty simple. If you would like to submit your English Bulldog videos or pictures please send a link to your You Tube video or a link to a funny bulldog picture you might have stored on Photobucket, You Tube offers free video file hosting and Photo Bucket can host your pictures for free, and both services will give you a link in just seconds that you can send to me at boneheadbulldogs[at]gmail[dot]com.
If you enjoy funny English Bulldog pictures and videos I suggest subscribing to my RSS feed or following Bonehead Bulldog on Twitter, notice there is no “S” on the end of our Twitter username @boneheadbulldog.

Now that we have Bonehead Bulldogs open and ready to go we are missing just a few things, those things are going to be the most important parts of the site, we need your funny bulldog pictures. I have plenty of pictures and videos of our two bulldogs, Kennedy and Reagan and we fully intend to share them here on the site as well, but after a while just looking at our dogs will get boring for everyone that comes through.
Our Male English Bulldog Reagan really wants your pictures
As I mentioned in my “[intlink id="6" type="post"]Welcome to Bonehead Bulldogs[/intlink]” post when I first opened my bulldog blog, the main focus of the site is really your bulldog picture submissions and video submissions.
If you find a funny English Bulldog picture or you own a bulldog of your own please send an email to boneheadbulldogs[at]gmail[dot]com, simply upload your funny bulldog video to You Tube and send me a link to the video or upload a picture to Photobucket (both services are FREE) and send me the link, and your bulldog could possibly be featured on Bonehead Bulldogs.

I wanted to take a quick moment to write the first official article for my new English Bulldog Blog, Bonehead Bulldogs. I know most of you are probably wondering why I would call this blog Bonehead Bulldogs, all though there are probably plenty of bulldog owners that will read this and understand exactly why I decided to call the site Bonehead Bulldogs.
We have been fortunate enough to own two English Bulldogs for a little over a year, we actually had four bulldogs and were forced to have a family member and a good friend each take one because of constant fighting as they matured. We love the personality and charisma that our bulldogs have and it seems that everyone that owns a bulldog shares the same feelings, I wanted to start Bonehead Bulldogs.com in order to see some of the other amazing bulldogs that are out there.
I intend to take your [intlink id="12" type="post"]bulldog video and picture submissions[/intlink] and share them here on Bonehead Bulldogs, if you have a funny bulldog video or a funny picture of your bulldog and you would like to see it posted here please send a link to your You Tube video or a .jpg format picture to boneheadbulldogs [at] gmail [dot] com. You can also see an image of my email address in the upper right hand corner of the side bar.
Below is a picture of “Abe” who is about three months old in this picture, he is now currently owned by our very good friend James who has provided an excellent home for King Abe, you will see more pictures and video of Abe submitted b y James as the site continues to grow.
